EXPERIMENTAL SUBSTANTIATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF APLYING CARBON MATERIALS FOR SPLINTING TETH
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):

One of the important areas of modern dental materials science is the development of new materials with biologically inert properties and high strength characteristics, the use of which improves the efficiency of the treatment of patients with abnormal dentition. As construction material for splinting of teeth may use carbon fiber having high strength and resistance to fatigue loading. To evaluate the biocompatibility of carbon fiber experimental studies on animals. The experimental results showed that the carbon fibers during implantation expressed pathological changes in the organs of the experimental animals revealed no. The experiment confirmed biological inertness carbon fiber with respect to the tissues of the organism, which enables the use of this material in the practice of dentistry.
