The authors describe the clinical case of a 40 year-old woman referred to the clinic complaining of difficulty in swallowing food, presence of redness on the tongue. Microbiological studies revealed leptotrihii (Leptotrichia) – anaerobic gram-negative bacteria belonging to the family Fusobacteriaceae. The features of the therapy and prevention of this disease.
