Данной статьей мы начинаем серию публикаций нашей коллеги из Италии доктора Лилии Бортолотти. Препода‑ вала в университетах Вероны, Падуи, Флоренции, Болоньи, Модены, Бари. Читала курс лекций в университетах США и Мексики. Основной круг научных интересов посвящен проблеме полной потери зубов. Является соавтором ряда учебников и руководств в данной области, имеет большое число публикаций в ведущих мировых стоматологических и общемедицинских журналах. Лилия Бортолотти является одним из ведущих специалистов в области стоматологического материаловедения, являлась консультантом ряда ведущих мировых фирм-производителей. В настоящее время руководит клиникой в г. Болонье. Сотрудничает с рядом стоматологических ассоциаций мира и университетской клиникой г. Болоньи.

 Лечение началось с изготовления иммедиат- протеза на нижнюю челюсть затем этот протез был перебази‑ рован через 6 месяцев и наконец были изготовлены новые конструкции для обеих челюстей.
