   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Исходные данные. В медицине известны исследования взаимосвязи между остеопорозом костной ткани и возникновением хронического генерализованного пародонтита, однако данных об изменениях костной ткани у молодых пациентов с быстропрогрессирующим пародонтитом недостаточно.&#13;
Предмет исследования – изменения рентгенологической плотности костной ткани челюстей и системной минеральной плотности костной ткани (МПКТ) у молодых пациентов с быстропрогрессирующим пародонтитом. &#13;
Цель – изучение рентгенологической картины костной ткани у пациентов с быстропрогрессирующим пародонтитом.&#13;
            Материалы и методы.  Под наблюдением находилось 58 человек, из которых 48 проходили лечение по поводу быстропрогрессирующего пародонтита, 10 человек составили контрольную группу и не имели заболеваний пародонта. Рентгенологическое обследование всех пациентов включало проведение денситометрии проксимального отдела бедренной кости и поясничного отдела позвоночника. Для изучения изменений в костной ткани челюстей проводилась компьютерная томография и ортопантомография.&#13;
Все пациенты были разделены на две группы в зависимости от степени тяжести пародонтита.&#13;
 Результаты проведенного исследования продемонстрировали изменения в костной ткани челюстей, а также системные изменения у пациентов, которые проходили лечение по поводу быстропрогрессирующего пародонтита по сравнению со здоровыми обследуемыми. Так уровень МПКТ в данных группах оказался достоверно ниже, чем в контрольной группе (р &lt; 0,05). При этом достоверных различий между первой и второй группой выявлено не было, изменения, происходящие в костной ткани при быстропрогрессирующем пародонтите, не отличались у пациентов с различной степенью тяжести заболевания.&#13;
            Выводы. У пациентов с быстропрогрессирующим пародонтитом выявляются как локальные изменения рентгенологической структуры костной ткани челюстей, так и системное снижение минеральной плотности костной ткани.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>Background. Studies on the relationship between bone tissue osteoporosis and the development of chronic generalized periodontitis are known in medicine; however, data on bone tissue changes in young patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis are insufficient.&#13;
Subject. Changes in radiographic bone density of the jaws and systemic bone mineral density (BMD) in young patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis.&#13;
Objective. To study the radiographic pattern of bone tissue in patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis.&#13;
Methodology. A total of 58 subjects were observed, of whom 48 were undergoing treatment for rapidly progressive periodontitis. Ten individuals comprised the control group and had no periodontal disease. Radiological examination of all patients included densitometry of the proximal femur and lumbar spine. Computed tomography and orthopantomography were performed to assess changes in the jawbone tissue. All patients were divided into two groups according to periodontitis severity.&#13;
Results. The results of the study demonstrated changes in the jawbone tissue as well as systemic alterations in patients treated for rapidly progressive periodontitis compared to healthy controls. BMD levels in these groups were significantly lower than in the control group (p &lt; 0.05). No significant differences were found between the first and second groups; the bone tissue changes occurring in rapidly progressive periodontitis did not differ between patients with different disease severity.&#13;
Conclusion. Patients with rapidly progressive periodontitis exhibit both local changes in the radiographic structure of the jawbone tissue and a systemic decrease in bone mineral density.</p>
